question of the day: what words/phrases do you hate/love?I love the phrase: Drive it like you stole it and Drop the kids off at the pool.
I hate all corporate speak, Synergy, Core Ideology, Go the extra mile (where the f*ck am I going?), Caveat, Holistic view??? I gotta stop, I'm getting nauseous typing this.
thankfully, the "that's hot" has gone away - i freakin hate paris hilton
I've grown fond of saying "I don't care, I do what I want" in the voice of a 12 year old girl that wants to get pregnant and is appearing on jerry springer
i hate all office lingo (i.e on my radar, keep it offline, shoot me an email, et al)
i pretty much love all british and australian lingo because its weird
R U nuuuupid?
load chunks always gets a laugh from me, also clob and blob, and chron jobs. also i've taken up saying "later losers!" whenever i leave
I love the word sherbet. It is just fun.
Curmudgeon is a good one too.
And my favorite curse word is: f_ckwankerbuggersh!ttinga$$headinahole.
whatevs. do people actually say this in real life?
whatever dude. love it
I love the word "phenomenon". It always reminds me of the singing alien-looking muppets on Sesame Street that sang "muh-nah-muh-nah". I hate poor grammar, like "I seen him" and when my fellow Philadelphians say stuff like "you'se". I also hate when older white people try to use urban slang, especially when it is really old like "don't go there" and "get your" blank "on". Or if they say "Fitty Cent". IT'S "FIFTY" !!!
I hate the word "utilize". It means the exact same thing as the word "use". For chrissake, use the 3 letter word! The people that use "utilize" are just trying to act smart (b/c they're not) and are reprehensible. Line 'em all up and shoot those losers. Darwinism, yay!
nipples
i hate 'yo momma' jokes. i hate 'coo' or 'kewl' or 'word'. 'word is bond' is the worst. i do like using 'yo', 'what's shaking', 'peace in the middle east', 'shake whatcha momma gave ya', 'too cool for school' - i could answer this question forever... so that's it.
I hate the n*gger word and all the issues surrounding it. Because the whole context changes with the color of the skin of the person using it and how much slang is added to it (ex. n*gga...). If a specifically colored person can't use the slang version (which has a different context then the originating word) in hearing range of the opposite color skinned person because that is seen as r@cest (even though they can use the slang version), then neither colored skin person should use it (but yet it appears that a person of a colored skin that is in between the two (nationality doesn't matter) seems to be able to use it when ever they want). And as far as the originating word, no one should use it...EVER.
i hate it when people call me dawg. WTF is that about?
i love it when boyfriends call me honey, baby, sweetie. I don't know why, I just do.
Love to say: Isabella Rossellini
Hate hearing people say: Artsy
