QOTD: as predicted...

QOTD will be taking a brief holiday for a couple of days. Thank you to everyone who answers questions, and even more to people who suggest questions! If you would like to suggest a question, you can easily do so by email or instant message. Also, I would like to get your input on the way the questions are sent out. I have been asking the questions by instant message, and while there are many advantages to doing it that way, I am also finding that there are numerous disadvantages I didn't expect. How would you rather be asked the question, through IM or by email? Please let me know either by adding a comment to this, email, or IM. Thanks!
